This Wilson Tour BLX is one of the best rackets that I have ever used, and trust me, I have demoed plenty! It's very solid with a high swingweight. It has plenty of pop, and good control. It's also very comfortable. This is an excellent stick if you like to hit from the baseline. It could be tricky at the net due to it's high SW(340). Spins are easily achieved. I honestly can't understand why Wilson is discontinuing this model. Sure hope they know what they are doing!

I have been using the Hammer line for over 15 years now, from every iteration starting with the Profile and SledgeHammer all the way to the BLX Tour 95 and am still well satisfied with the racket. It has a unique combination of power, control and touch well suited to any aspect of a players's game and capabilities. Glad that along the way none of the Hammer's (slightly head heavy, good swingweight) noted qualities were lost, and the feel improved with each version until the latest has all of the best qualities of the Hammer line and the latest in Wilson technology to boot. It gives good power from the baseline and serves smoothly. Volleys and touch shots are no problem and the ball is directed effortlessly. Good balance and lightweight make it easy to work with at the net and in quick paced exchanges. The racket has power enough to go from defense to offense quickly when needed. Once again, I am pleased with what this racket brings to the table and love this improved version of an old favorite.
