I had the 9 deg, 68g stiff flex, WS Smooth in the bag for about 4 years (avg carry distance of 255-260 yards with a total avg distance of 270-275). The reason I never changed equipment was because all the other "big name" adjustable drivers just never produced better results whatsoever in all the dozens of test drives over the past 24 months. That all changed when I tested the M3 driver today. I just got professionally fitted for the M3 driver, 50g stiff flex with the 11g sole weight at 9.5 deg. I was concerned about dropping from a 68g shaft to a 50g shaft however, the numbers don't lie. The results on the trackman with the M3: avg between 12-13 deg launch angle and avg between 2400-2600 spin rate at an avg 105 mph swing speed (5mph faster than with my old driver). That was translating into an avg carry distance of 270-275 yards and 285-290 yards of total distance. I was swinging the 50g weight shaft 5 mph faster than the NL 60g stiff shaft (and noticed very little difference in spin rate compared to the 50g stiff shaft). I never thought it was possible for me to hit a ball over 280 yards, but this club delivered! I've always driven consistent fairways, so honestly, no changes there and I wouldn't depend on my driver for that anyway (I don't know why folks say they "hit it straighter" with a new club -you have to improve your swing mechanics for that result, not the club). Anyway, compared to my old Smooth driver, the M3 had a more pronounced lower pitch and impressively noticeable "smack" sound vs the high pitch, quieter "snap" sound of the Smooth. I loved the new sound and feel...it certainly had that "wow" factor that was missing in my old driver. This has an absolutely beautiful looking compact club head, dark matte grey finish, with a deep face that provides more than ample of forgiveness for me (who's odd miss on the face is towards the bottom). However, if you miss it towards the toe or heel, you will definitely notice it and will lose distance - but that is the great feedback I want from my driver. The sound, feel, and flight in the sweet spot is absolutely euphoric! I've tried ALL the other "big name" drivers, and the M3 outperformed miles above and beyond ALL of them and was the first and only driver to provide improved distance, sound, look and feel than my old driver (finally!). Thank you Wilson Staff and outstanding job with this one!

I picked up this driver with the NL shaft in regular flex because my previous driver ,10.5 Cleveland launcher XL 270 with the Miyazaki 39R shaft, was losing distance as my game progressed (higher swing speed ) . My drives were ballooning, And when I switched to my 8.5 XL 290 with the 39S I lost consistency . I pulled the F3 out of the box @ standard setting 9.5 with middle weight insert and outdrove my old drivers and hit more fairways . The NL shaft allowed my to play a more comfortable regular flex due to its low trajectory and high kick point . It provides me the ability to go at it when I'm on and swing a little conservative when I'm off . Amazing club , amazing shaft ( get the right shaft for you ) , you can go on the Aldila website for more info ! By the way the F3 hybrids and fairway woods are just as incredible . I consider myself an intermediate golfer so I rarely shape any shots so I have no input as far as that goes . I'm glad to have my bag all Wilson Staff again !! F3 driver,5 wood,23 hybrid, Spine 3 wood (took out my launcher ,F3 coming soon!!) 19.5 fybrid ( 19 F3 coming soon !), DI9 irons and wedges , 8884 putter , DUO balls and my pride and joy F3 Tour M3 staff bag ! Make it personal !

I have always been a Wilson Staff Blade man, first set was the 1978 goose necks. Next set was the short lived 1988-89 Staff blades, frankly I think Wilson blade technology peaked with these irons. Thankfully Wilson finally came out with the FG-100 blades this year as my 25 year old set was worn out. While the FG-100's have a slightly different feel, I would say they at least equal my old set. Cavity back designs are just not my cup of tea, the feel and feedback is dull in comparison. I find it amazing that Pros play them, no way I would ever consider loosing that much feel in my game. I waited 20 years for Wilson to get back to building quality blades. Thank you Wilson!
To be honest I never liked Wilson Woods, not back in the 70's, not the 80's, 90's ... not ever. So it was surprising when I picked up a 3 wood, or should I say 15 degree Metal, at the PGA Superstore. It took me only 3 swings to know I loved the feel of this club. The crack sounds similar to the sound of the ol' persimmon woods, I really like that. Sold!
The Wilson M3 19 Hybrid was also a love at first bite, bought that one on the spot too!
The Wilson M3 Driver was a completely different animal, I have a really hard time with the look of that gigantic 450cc cranium. I know these monster heads are popular these days but I would sure like to see smaller options in the 275 -300cc range. That being said I still decided to purchase the stiff shaft M3 driver to have a matching set.
However after a few weeks I have to admit, unlike the 15 & 19 metals, I was not really feeling this driver. I tried both weights and every face angle, no help, I was looking to trade this dog in. Luckily the boys over at the Superstore put a red shaft M3 driver in my hands.
Crack, Bam, Thank-You Ma'am!
With a club head speed of over 120 mph they finally got a Tour X shaft in my hands. Oh baby, baby, somebody stop me. I had a small audience watching me consistently hit over 300 yards on the screen. This translates to even further out on the coarse with the FG Tour Ball, this kind of distance is almost unbelievable to me. The only issue, even when I have "the honor", I have to wait to last till last so I don't hit into the group ahead of us. I know, its tough to take!
Long story short, if you decide to buy this Wilson M3 Driver make sure you have it custom fit to your game. Now I absolutely love my Wilson M3 driver.

Ive been looking for a new driver for 2 years and finally settled on the FG. I don't like the sound but will no doubt adapt as I use it more. I hit it about 5-10 yards futher than my Taylormade but much straighter.

If you do not like the sound you can try taking out the weight on the bottom of the driver and putting cotton balls in to muffle the sound.

It has been a while since I hit a Wilson driver. I never tried the D100 but did hear good things about it. My gamer was a Titleist 9013D2 which I like very much. Tried the Wilsom M3 Driver and was very surprised. Very good stock shaft, nice classic shape at address, and very long. If you use a firm ball it is loud. Adjust ability is nice as is the weight option. It is fairly light but still easy to control. If driver shopping, this is one of those you ought to hit and compare. For me it is very long, and very easy to hit.

I compared this driver to all of the new 2014 drivers. I have always been a fan of Wilson Staff irons and have hard time putting their woods in my bag. However, this M3 driver has everything a mid to low handicap player is looking for. Great traditional looking head with extremely low spin rates. Great job creating this driver Wilson Staff it is going directly in my bag!
