I upgraded from the 2012 version; the new model has similar great balance and stability however there is a definite increase in power off the stringbed which makes it slightly more penetrating. Whatever Wilson have done is working!

owned old blx 6.1 team with 18x20 string pattern. 4.0 player. Felt unnder powered with this racket. With my new racket strung at the low end of the range, tremendous power, yet do get more spin to control the power. the racket is heavy!! I think that is part of what gives the racket more feel. It feels less stiff than my old blx 6.1 team. Only had for a week but really enjoy. I am 55, so I have "old strokes" and don't use a lot of wrist on my shots. Enjoy

I purchased this racket after testing it for 3 games on clay. I did demo more than 10 rackets with similar specs before making my decission. I am a 4.5 club player that likes control playing 3 times a week doubles. Like the previous six.one 95 this racket is a great control racket with great balance for volleys and plenty of mass to provide stability in all shots. It feels more forgiving that the 2012 model (I have both) although the specs are almost identical.
I recommend it to +4.5 and higher level players looking for a serious player's racket. Great product.
