bought this racquet on 09 May 2014, used it a couple of times that week for practice and then for a tournament on the 17th and 18th. in the middle of my match on the 18th, i noticed an odd feel in my shot - looked down at the racquet and saw there was a crack in my racquet. could be a fluke, but needless to say was disappointed this happened in the middle of a match during a tournament.

This racket is the best feeling one I´ve ever hit with. I had to cutomize it though. I brought it up to 12.1 oz strung to get a swing weight of 327. The string pattern is awesome for spin but for flat hitters it isn´t the best because it is slightly erractic. I´m also going through strings like crazy. I would like to play this one with a sting bed of 18 mains and 18 crosses (18x18) for more control. Other than that I would like to see this one unstrung with a weight of 317g stock form. I can definitely recommand this racket.

Today i bought after reading some reviews of this racquet also one and want to switch to this stick. BUT! ...originaly prestrung with Wilson Ripspin - OK. Strung Weight 326g - OK. Strung Balance - 34cm - 1pt.headlight - NOT OK. This stick felt heavy and not so maneuverable....and i cannot in my country for this reasong change for another which is good...So i think, not all this stick are the same. But the racquet is solid, precise and comfortable.

This racquet is so amazing because it plays and feels like a heavier frame in terms of stability, but it is still on the lighter side and easy to maneuver. The sweet spot is just so massive and feels like pure heaven when you hit it. The raquet proides amazing spin and flat serves have tremendous pace and amazing placement. I am struggling with my second serve at the moment, but other than that, this racquet is defintely one of the best I have ever hit with. My return of serve has improved fifty fold as pace is easy to redirect and weaker serves are easier to take big rips at. You need to try this frame -- best racquet Wilson has put out in over 8 years.

Excellent Balance of Spin/Control

I tried this racquet along with several of the other 95 models and choose the 95S over the other string patters of the 95 series because of it's comfort and balance of spin vs. control. I had been playing with the Steam 99S and although I loved the spin it can generate, it did not have the control that I needed when I wanted to hit flat and hard. For me, Wilson nailed it with this new racquet's balance of control and spin. Bought two of them and this is now my "go-to" racquet.

A little unpredictable

I am a big fan of the Six.one heritage from nCode and down. It's a bit too heavy for me, and to be honest, the Team version doesn''t have nearly the feel, and I guess it was due to its much reduced weight. Since the nCode, I was hoping Wilson would come out with a mid 11-oz version of the Six.One. I was excited to see the 95S hit the market. Finally got it and played with it only once. My inital take is it resembles more the Six.One Team than the Six.One in terms of stability. My friends told me my shots came with more spin (I didn't ask them to watch or told them I had a new racket), but I didn't see it myself. However, when I had to hit slightly late (whether it was a faster-than-expected serve I was returning or getting up to a short ball a little late), my ball flew to the back fence. This is the lack of stability I was referring to earlier. Another thing is the string. The 95S has a rather unusal pattern of 18 main and 16 cross. I had the racket strung with basic Wilson nylon (I'll cut the strings and restring with a ploy and nylon blend), and the strings moved uncontrollably throughout my hitting session.
Speaking of the strings, I can't find the the 95S instruction here. Anyone knows where I can get its 2-piece instruction.
